About Heart's Reprise

Heart’s Reprise

“A poignant, melodic revisiting of life’s sweetest memories.” The Native American flute inspired by music from Celtic, Asian and native American genres.

The Tracks:

“Waiting Pen.” The instrument waiting patiently for us to be our own storytellers.

“Heart in Hand.” Walking together in sacred meadows.

“Ice Bridge.” Inspired by the first wanderers that were the ancestors of North America’s native peoples.

We followed the stars across the narrow ice bridge to the new territory. Now our children’s children sing our heart songs. We never left.

“Shared Breath.” As we walk together, sometimes we inhale our life’s breath.

“Another Feather.” As a recognition of navigating one of life’s passages.

“Fathers Dear.” Dedicated to all beloved fathers and mentors.

“First Star.” All the excitement of seeing the evenings first celestial lights.

“Worn Path.” How many times have I walked this path without remembering?

“First Growth.” As roses in a March garden.

“Chin Up.” So that I may learn from your eyes.

“Canopy.” Inspired by our celestial blanket.

“Spring Kisses.” The freshness of new love.

“Spirals.” Memories on a turnstile.

“Blue Element.” A musical ode to longing and gratitude.
