About Coconino

Coconino

Native American Style Flute Music with Southwestern textures.

“Beautiful.” Inspired by the beauty and Majesty of northern Arizona and New Mexico.

“Memo’s Native American style flute music lifts you up and transports you on a shamanic journey. It breaks you free of time as you step into a musical world of sacred echoes.”

About the Album Art

The petroglyphs of the V-Bar-V Ranch, located east of Sedona Arizona remained a family secret until its donation to the state. Much of the meaning is shrouded in mystery, but best wisdom suggests it is a calendar of sorts that may indicate the optimal times for three seasonal corn plantings.

About the Tracks:

“Cocoa and Cream.” The journey begins with the doorbell as a harbinger of welcomed guests.

“Fallen Feather.”. A good omen on the medicine trail of life.

“Petrified Forest,” About 100 miles east of flagstaff, near old US Route 66 (the Mother Road) these giant trees now more like crystals than wood flourished 250 million years ago.
